After four long years of delay the latest destination airport in the Middle East finally opens in Qatar with Doha’s Hamad International Airport.
Boasting an annual passenger capacity of 50 million passengers and sprawled across almost 30 square kilometres the airport reportedly cost $15 billion dollars.
With the Middle Eastern carriers such as Qatar, Etihad and Emirates gaining more and more passengers the need for improved airport facilities has been a long felt pressure, which also foresees a new airport scheduled for opening in Abu Dhabi in 2017.
