Who Is Lifestyle & Travel Blogger Sabina Of Girl vs Globe?

Girl vs Globe Profile - The Wise Traveller

The Wise Traveller is always looking to provide travellers with top trending, influential information and allowing you to ‘stay connected’ before and while you travel.

Next in our series profiling and reviewing some of the top and up & coming travel bloggers, is Sabina, the ‘Girl’ behind ‘Girl vs. Globe’.

About Sabina

Sabina is in her early twenties and has a passion for all things travel, fashion, and food. She believes the world should be her home and not restrict that to one city. She’s upbeat, positive and has one heck of a bucket list. She loves meeting new people and learning about their life experiences.
Her website is split into three blogging categories;

  - Lifestyle
  - Food
  - Fashion

On top of that, she has a ‘Destinations’ tab, which is broken down into cities she’s travelled to with related blogs about each city.

Some great examples of entries you can find on her website include; ‘7 Tricks to Wake up Happy and Fabulous’, ’10 Russian Foods you have to Try’, and ‘Exams Done. Now What?

Lets Get to Know Sabina

We asked Sabina some questions about her life as a traveller and blogger;

What is your favourite destination and why?
I’m really not very good at picking favourites - I love travelling because it allows me to constantly experience new things and explore new corners of our beautiful planet. This year my top three would include Iceland, Scotland and Ethiopia though. And Canada. See? I’m not good at this at all..

Tell us your scariest travel experience?
I’ve had my fair share of terrifying moments on the road - including a trip to a Russian police station and almost spending the night at a roundabout surrounded by wild boar. But I consider every bad travel experience a lesson so I mainly find these incidents amusing.

If you could only give one single travel tip that you think would be the most helpful what would it be?
Be open-minded and talk to locals. Travel is the best way to get to know other cultures and will really broaden your horizons if you let it.

What is your favourite travel related quote?
“If I'd learnt one thing from travelling, it was that the way to get things done was to go ahead and do them. Don't talk about going to Borneo. Book a ticket, get a visa, pack a bag, and it just happens.” (Alex Garland, The Beach)
